Heavily potted bottle of quatrefoil form with a glazed lip, very short straight neck, raised oval foot rim with a recessed flat foot, and a well-written apocryphal 4-character Qianlong mark in red. The lobed panels on the front and the back depict three lotus’s blooming from a pond with a lone downward facing dragonfly, and three varieties of blooming flowers with grass and two butterflies facing each other all in highly detailed enamels. The thick side band is beautifully decorated in underglaze blue (cobalt) lotus blossoms and floral scrolls. Each flank has a molded mask-ring handle in the shape of an animal (dog) enameled in orange with gold eyes and gold rings. Gilt metal stopper in the shape of a coiled chilong with a (replacement) plastic spoon.
