Description: Bottle of squat “bulging oval” form with short neck and a flat lip with a rounded rim. The slightly splayed foot is recessed with a flat interior and a Tongzhi reign mark in red. The front is decorated in famille rose enamels and depicts a Daoist immortal holding a ruyi scepter and a peach with his attendant holding a tray with a jue on top. The reverse depicts two boys, one with a double gourd and the other with a tray of fruits, with swirling multi-colored clouds behind them. The shoulders show a bat on one side and a peach on the other.
